ISO 27001 Re-accreditation
Remsdaq achieves re-accreditation to ISO 27001 Information Security management system
Remsdaq has since 2012 been independently
accredited and assessed to the ISO 27001 Information Security Standard.
Remsdaq has recently successfully undergone
an independent surveillance audit of its Information Security Management System
(ISMS) as required by the accreditation procedures.
ISO 27001 is the global standard for the
establishment and certification of ISMS. The standard includes a clearly
defined set of requirements for establishing, operating and maintaining an ISMS
and prescribes a risk-based approach around the controls necessary to protect
the organisation's information assets.
This means that our customers can be
assured that they are working with a company who themselves are operating under
internationally recognised information security standards.
Maintaining the ISO 27001 Certification
means that Remsdaq can assure customers that adequate controls, addressing
confidentiality, integrity and availability of information that is vital to any
business are in place to safeguard information and provide confidence that
their data inclusive of any sensitive material, is fully secure.
Commenting on the achievement Remsdaq’s Managing Director, Terry Breen made the following statement;
“We are absolutely delighted to achieve this re-accreditation which continues to ensure that our ISMS meets the requirements of the ISO 27001 Standard, are a confirmation of the importance Remsdaq places in our Management Systems and a reward to our staff for their diligent application of our procedures and practices.”
